National Library of South Africa (NLSA) is hiring Risk and Compliance Manager in Pretoria.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
- Champion the NLSA risk management process.
- Monitor the NLSA’s compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Prepare regular reports on compliance and risk management.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports.
- Liaise with relevant internal stakeholders on compliance matters, risk management and performance reporting.
- Track and monitor the audit outcome improvement plan on internal and external audit findings.
- Assist in the development and review of policies and procedures that guide internal controls.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of reports to relevant stakeholders.
MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- NQF level 7 qualification in Risk, Compliance, Governance, Internal Auditing, Law, Accounting Science or Finance
- Honours Degree will be an added advantage
EXPERIENCE
- Five years of governance, risk and compliance management experience in the Private or Public sector of which three years should be at middle management level.
- Knowledge of PFMA Act, PPFA, Treasury Regulations, SDA, EEA, LRA and BCEA and all rother relevant legislation including the Constitution of South Africa.
- Applied knowledge of the Framework for Strategic Plans and Annual Performance Plans.
- Applied knowledge of the programme information reporting framework.
- Experience working with senior management and Board members.
