Brights Hardware was founded in 1971 by Mr. and Mrs. Luis as a General Dealer specializing in electrical contracting and repairs. Through the years, the business has grown into a multi-faceted outlet for all one’s building material and hardware needs.
Brights Hardware is hiring Operational Clerk in Western Cape.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Daily capturing of transfers for the group onto drivers logsheet
Ensure the daily logsheet to duties are completed and handed to the Supervisor
Ensure that all stock is arranged to be despatched to other branches (all stock items must be accompanied with the correct documentation)
Ensure all filling are done daily
Ensure the capturing of despatch report are completed
Ensure all stock are sorted and grouped by branch
Ensure all stock are checked and correspond with the transfer document before it is packed onto the relevant branch pallet
Ensure all stock is packed and palletized after being checked.
Ensure that the despatch department is not left unattended at any times
Liaise with Store with regards to stock transfers
Maintain house – keeping standards at all times
Participate in perpetual stock takes
Any work – related tasks as delegate by superior
REQUIREMENTS:
Matric or x3 Completed Intercept courses equating to total of 120 credits
Candidates with no Matric but have 2 years’ experience in the industry; 2 years in stock related function; NQF 3 Stock Management course at minimum 54 credits will be considered for the position
Brights Induction (Service Excellence)
2 years in stock related function
2 years’ experience in the industry
2 years minimum in stock related function
Competent with internal K8 system
Planning, time management & organizing skills
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal & written) at all levels
Ability to handle pressure
Computer skills – Microsoft office (Internet, E-mails, Word & Excel)
