1. Internship: Human Capital Management
- Department: Group Corporate & Shared Services (GCSS)
- Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or any related qualification majoring in Human Resources.
- Duties:
- Coordinate HR administrative tasks and provide support to employees regarding organizational and legislative procedures.
- Prepare reports and assist with subcommittee meetings and dispute hearings.
- Skills: Computer literacy, communication skills, attention to detail, planning, organizing, and teamwork.
2. Internship: Administration
- Department: Development Planning Department
- Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Administration, Public Administration, or Business Management.
- Duties:
- Provide administrative support, arrange meetings, record minutes, and maintain records.
- Skills: Computer literacy, communication skills, multitasking, attention to detail, and professionalism.
3. Internship: Spatial Transformation Projects
- Department: Development Planning Department
- Requirements:
- Matric/Grade 12 plus NQF Level 7 qualification in the Built Environment or equivalent.
- Duties:
- Support project management and contract administration, track project progress, and assist with office administration.
- Skills: Project management skills, communication, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of local government legislation.
4. Internship: IT Programme
- Department: Development Planning Department
- Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
- Duties:
- Manage Town Planning Application System (TAS), handle system issues, manage large datasets, and produce reports.
- Skills: IT literacy, problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
General Information:
- Stipend: R9,960.45 per month (Basic Salary, no benefits).
- Duration: 18 months contract.
- Interns will need to sign an internship agreement and an employment contract.
