In terms of teaching requirements, VUT only offers the following teaching course:
- Bachelor of Education (Senior Phase and Further Education & Training Teaching)
- Advanced Diploma in Technical and Vocational Teaching (TVT)
- Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE)
List of VUT Teaching Courses and APS Scores
Below are the teaching courses and their relative APS score requirements:
Bachelor of Education (Senior Phase and Further Education & Training Teaching):
- If you have Mathematics or Technical Mathematics, the Minimum APS is 22 (excluding Life Orientation).
- If you have Mathematical Literacy, the Minimum APS score is 24 (excluding Life Orientation)
Advanced Diploma in Technical and Vocational Teaching (TVT):
The Advanced Diploma in Technical and Vocational Teaching offered at VUT does not require APS score as it is a postgraduate course.
Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE):
Also, the Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Education (PGDHE) does not require an APS score as it is a postgraduate course.
