The woman allegedly involved in Emmanuel Mahamba’s tragic death has publicly addressed the incident for the first time. Her statement came during a live Facebook broadcast hosted by funeral director Moreboys Munetsi, who has been closely following the case.
Speaking to over 4,000 viewers in the first hour of the broadcast, Munetsi confirmed that the unnamed woman played a central role in the events leading up to Mahamba’s death.
Ntombizodwa Recounts the Events
During the live session, the woman, identified as Ntombizodwa, recounted how her Ugandan ex-partner fatally ran over her Zimbabwean boyfriend, Emmanuel Mahamba, multiple times. She explained that she began dating Emmanuel while she was on a break from her relationship with the Ugandan man. After she and Emmanuel ended things, mutual acquaintances informed her ex about the relationship.
Enraged by what he perceived as betrayal, the Ugandan man confronted the situation violently. Outside Ntombizodwa’s workplace, he ran over Emmanuel three times with his car. A video captured the horrifying moment, showing Ntombizodwa screaming and pleading for him to stop.
Funeral director Munetsi captioned the session:
“This is the woman who was in a relationship with both Emmanuel and the Ugandan man. That’s how Emmanuel Mahamba ended up being killed — the Ugandan ran him over with a car.”
Concerns Over Police Corruption and Investigation Integrity
During the emotional broadcast, Munetsi raised serious concerns about the integrity of the police investigation. He alleged that corruption within the police force may be interfering with the case. He also warned viewers about possible political influence affecting the inquiry, and highlighted the risks of witness intimidation and evidence tampering.
