South Africans Express Outrage After Senzo Meyiwa’s Murder Trial Is Postponed Again
The high-profile murder trial of former Bafana Bafana captain Senzo Meyiwa has once again been postponed, sparking widespread frustration among South Africans.
The Pretoria High Court announced that proceedings will now resume on Monday, 19 May 2025, eNCA reveals.

New Lawyer Requests More Time
The latest postponement follows a request from Advocate Charles Mnisi, who recently took over as legal counsel for accused number one, Muzi Sibiya, after the death of his former lawyer, Advocate Thulani Mngomezulu.
Mnisi told the court he needed more time to properly prepare for the case.
