Raza’s awesome display halts United


Sikandar Raza Lahore Qalandars

Zimbabwe T20 captain Sikandar Raza was awesome with bat and ball as his Lahore Qalandars snapped Islamabad United’s winning streak with an 88-run win in a 2025 Pakistan Super League (PSL) match on Wednesday.

He scored 39 off 17 balls, including three sixes and as many fours.

After that, Raza returned with the ball to take three wickets for 20 runs in four overs. This included the wickets of captain Shadab Khan, Salman Agha and Ben Dwarshuis.

Haris Rauf led with four for 31.

For his efforts, Raza was named Player of the Match.

The win sees the Qalandars go second on Net Run Rate.

They face Quetta Gladiators, who are placed third on the same number of points.
