Ayanda Thabethe earns an MBA with Distinction

Media personality Ayanda Thabethe has announced the completion of her Executive MBA from Henley Business School, nearly four years after publicly declaring her academic ambitions.
The mother of two took to social media to share her milestone achievement, reflecting on the challenges and triumphs of balancing studies with motherhood.
“In June 2021, I shared with you all that I was starting an MBA journey — and today, nearly four years later, I’m so proud to say: I did it!” Thabethe wrote.
While the typical Henley Executive MBA programme takes two and a half years to complete, Thabethe’s journey stretched to four years as she welcomed two children during her studies.
“With every pause, every return, came its own mountain to climb,” she acknowledged, crediting her support system and Henley Africa for helping her persevere.
Thabethe revealed she graduated with distinction for her thesis, adding: “I give all glory to God for carrying me through.”
She explained her decision to share her academic pursuit publicly from the beginning:
“Publicly declaring this goal became part of my motivation to finish — to follow through, not just for me, but for anyone who may have needed the reminder that you can do hard things.”
Thabethe’s message included encouragement for others facing daunting challenges:
“To anyone standing at the beginning of something daunting — this is your sign. Start. And finish. Even if life interrupts you along the way.”
