The Export Credit Insurance Corporation of South Africa (ECIC) was established 20 years ago, in July 2001. The ECIC provides insurance that enables South African exporters to offer their services and products on the international markets, with particular focus on Africa and other emerging markets that are considered too risky by conventional insurers

Key Areas of Training Exposure:
- Planning and demand management
- Acquisition management
- Logistics management
- Contract and supplier management
- Travel and records management
- Compliance with procurement policies and laws
- Public procurement systems (petty cash, one and three written quotations, competitive bidding, and more)
- Exposure to the three bid committee system
Key Interfaces:
- Finance Unit
- Heads of Business Units and internal stakeholders
Minimum Requirements:
- A 3-year post-matric qualification in Supply Chain Management or Finance
- No prior corporate working experience
- South African citizen under the age of 35 years
