Forek Institute of Technology is an Artisan Training and Development private college that was founded by Mr EF Sibiya in 2009, who has a vision of uplifting and upskilling the previously disadvantaged – particularly the youth.
The Wholesale and Retail Sector Education Training Authority (W&RSETA), in collaboration with Forek Institute of Technology, is offering a fully funded Plumber Apprenticeship Programme for 2025. This is your chance to gain a nationally recognized qualification and practical skills through an accredited learning pathway.

Who Can Apply?
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, applicants must:
- Be South African citizens aged 18 to 35 years
- Reside in Mpumalanga Province (attach proof of residence)
- Have passed Grade 12 with Mathematics or Mathematical Literacy
- Have N2 Engineering Studies or NCV Level 3 in a trade-related qualification (advantageous)
- Submit a comprehensive CV
- Attach certified copies (not older than 3 months) of:
- South African ID
- Highest qualification
- Proof of residence
