What You’ll Learn

As a SANSA in-service trainee, you’ll be exposed to real-world space operations and advanced engineering systems. Learning areas include:

• Operating and maintaining antenna systems, RF systems, and satellite ground station equipment
• Supporting TT&C (Telemetry, Tracking & Command) and launch operations
• Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance
• Assisting with project-based tasks and engineering support

Minimum Requirements

To qualify, applicants must have:

• S4 or S5 in Electrical Engineering, specialising in Electronics or Telecommunications
• A WIL/in-service training letter from their institution
• Knowledge of microwave and telecommunications principles
• Good communication skills and proficiency in English
• Computer literacy (MS Office Suite)
• Must be 35 years old or younger
• Must be a South African citizen with a valid driver’s license
• Must have reliable transport (no public transport access to the site)
