Eligibility Criteria

Before you begin your application, make sure you meet the following eligibility requirements:

1. South African Citizenship or Permanent Residency: You must be a South African citizen or have permanent residency status in South Africa.
2. Postgraduate Study Enrollment: You must be enrolled in a full-time Postgraduate programme in Film or TV, not available in South Africa. The course must commence in September or October 2025.
3. Accredited Overseas Institution: You need to be accepted at an accredited overseas tertiary institution.
4. Academic Record: A strong academic record is essential.
5. Financial Need: Proof of financial need is required.

How to Apply

Applications must be submitted online via the NFVF application portal. To apply, follow these steps:

2. Complete the Online Application: Once registered, log in and fill out the application form.
3. Include Supporting Documents: Submit clear copies of the following documents (make sure all documents are certified):
