The National Film and Video Foundation (NFVF) is accepting applications for its International Bursaries for the 2025 academic year. Here are the key details for interested applicants:

Key Information:

  • Deadline: 07 April 2025
  • Location: South Africa
  • Bursary Amount: Capped at R280,000 (includes tuition and living expenses)
  • Program: Post-Graduate Film and TV Studies (International)
  • Eligibility:
    • Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
    • Must demonstrate a need for financial assistance.
    • Must have a good academic record.
    • Must be enrolled for full-time post-graduate studies in a film/TV program at an accredited overseas institution.
    • The course must commence in September/October 2025.
    • The course must not be offered in South Africa.
    • Note: Live performance or acting courses are excluded from this grant.
