The Gauteng Department of Roads and Transport is inviting suitably qualified graduates to apply for its Land Acquisition and Support Internship Programme 2025–2027.

This is a 24-month paid internship based in Johannesburg, designed to equip aspiring property professionals with valuable workplace experience in a key government department.

Internship Overview

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have one of the following qualifications:

• National Diploma, B-Tech, or Degree in:
  • Real Estate
  • BSc Property Studies
  • Property Management

Additional criteria:

• Must be a South African citizen
• Must not have participated in any previous internship programmes within South Africa
• Applicants living with disabilities and female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, in line with the department’s Employment Equity Plan
